PROJECT OVERVIEW
Family-owned and deeply rooted in Middle Eastern hospitality, Windsor Palace Restaurant is known for bringing people together through authentic cuisine, warm service, and a welcoming dining experience. The restaurant approached me to redesign its visual identity and develop a signature starter menu that would better reflect the quality of its food, rich cultural heritage, and upscale yet family-friendly atmosphere.
The goal was to create a brand experience that felt elegant and memorable while remaining approachable and inviting to guests of all ages. Inspired by traditional Middle Eastern warmth and modern restaurant aesthetics, the new direction focused on balancing authenticity, sophistication, and appetite appeal.

The overall identity was designed to make Windsor Palace Restaurant feel timeless, welcoming, and visually distinctive across both dine-in and takeout experiences.
DESIGN THINKING PROCESS
The design approach centered around creating a visual identity that captured both sides of the restaurant’s personality — upscale dining and family hospitality. After researching the restaurant’s atmosphere, cuisine, and customer experience, I developed a design direction that combined:

One of the key objectives was to avoid making the brand feel overly traditional or overly luxurious. Instead, the design needed to strike a balance between authenticity

The menu system was intentionally designed to feel:

Large food photography, earthy tones, elegant typography, and spacious layouts were used to create a premium dining impression while still preserving the comfort and familiarity expected from a family restaurant.
The redesigned identity allows Windsor Palace Restaurant to present itself as both:

• A comfortable gathering place for families and the community

The final result is a cohesive brand experience that enhances the restaurant’s atmosphere, strengthens visual recognition, and reflects the quality and authenticity behind the food.
