Overview
Market Craft Distillery, independently owned and operated based in Newmarket, Ontario, owns The Newmarket Reserve for single malt whiskey, The Spirit of Newmarket Gin, The Newmarket Vodka. This inspirational project aims to create a complete packaging design for the local distillery.
Design Thinking Process
The creative concept behind the design is to implement parts of the main background image of the box onto the bottle itself to create a cohesive and harmonious design connecting them together. Also, I used vibrant and contrasting colour tones for visual interest.

Additionally, I chose a different image to express each brand’s specific colour theme. For example, The Newmarket Reserve brand is a single malt whiskey; I used a yellow/orange autumn image to reflect a whiskey colour, and the same idea applies to the Gin and Vodka design. For the logotype, I kept it simple and straightforward.
